Traditional liposuction removes volume globally. Chest liposculpture is selective and artistic: fat is extracted with millimetric precision to sculpt the contour while respecting anatomy. Incisions are 2–3 mm and are placed in naturally hidden areas (folds, navel, groin, natural creases depending on the zone). With the recommended post-operative care, in the majority of patients the scar is virtually imperceptible after 6–12 months.
It is not suitable for people with significant obesity (BMI above 30, where weight loss is recommended first), serious clotting disorders, decompensated cardiovascular disease, pregnancy or breastfeeding, or patients with unrealistic expectations. The medical assessment determines candidacy.

Risks and safety of chest liposculpture

Haematomas and seromas
Accumulation of blood or fluid in the treated area. The compression garment and lymphatic drainage minimise their occurrence; when they do occur, they are resolved with medical management.
Contour irregularities
Minor asymmetries or skin undulations may appear in some cases. The Vaser and PAL Microaire technique significantly reduces this risk, but does not eliminate it entirely.
Sensitivity changes
It is common to notice numbness, tingling or hypersensitivity in the treated area for weeks or months. Normal sensation returns progressively.
Infection
Low risk thanks to strict aseptic protocol and antibiotic prophylaxis. Warning signs (fever, redness, increasing pain) are monitored at check-ups.
Venous thrombosis
